WELCOME TO THE SABETH NOVENA
Blessed Elizabeth, please intercede with the Master for the favours which I petition in this Novena: if it be His Holy Will; and if not, then ask Him to grant me those graces I stand most in need of. Blessed Elizabeth pray for us;and all who invoke your aid. Blessed Elizabeth, with confidence, I invoke your aid.Father, You are glorified in the assembly of your saints. You have given us Blessed Elizabeth that her way of life may serve as a pattern, her company a fellowship, and her intercession a support. With this blessed witness to inspire me, I can run my appointed course with love, and in Love, to achieve along with her an unfading crown of glory. Unending Joy! Unceasing Praise! Through Christ, Our Lord, whose Blood has gained for mankind entry into the eternal Kingdom. Day 1 "I feel so much love over my soul, it is like an Ocean I immerse and lose myself in: it is my vision on earth." (L177, p.123, line 14 ICS) Day 2 "My cenacle is "Love", Love who dwells within us; and my only exercise is to enter within ... to lose myself in those who are there." (L179, p.127, line 34 ICS) Day 3 "I am already beginning my Heaven on earth, but sometimes I would like to see the other side so as to see Him, ... to love Him, to lose myself in His Infinity." (L182, p.131 line 15 ICS) Day 4 (I would like to live on earth) "burying myself ... in the depths of my soul to lose myself in the Trinity who dwells in it in order to transform me into itself." (L185, p.136 line 19 ICS) Day 5 "I have given Him all. (From an earthly viewpoint) there is ... only emptyness ... but if my gaze remains always fixed on Him ... then I lose myself in Him like a drop of water in the Ocean." (L190 p.142 line 16 ICS) Day 6 "Oh! how good God has been to me. It is like an abyss of Love in which I lose myself while waiting to ... sing the mercies of the Lord in Heaven." (L208 p.167 line 13 ICS) Day 7 "A Dieu, little sister, I leave you, and I'm going to lose myself in Him, to let all this happiness* I can no longer contain overflow." (* the start of a 10 day retreat) (L211 p.171 line 11 ICS) Day 8 "A Dieu, dear Madame, I am going to lose myself in Him, to find you, since He is our Rendez-vous." (L220 p.188 line 28 ICS) Day 9 "It is so good to share those joys* and then say to yourself, "And I, I am His and He is mine". Ask Him that I might lose myself in order to bury myself in Him." (* the happiness God is sowing in her sister's family) (L256 p.239 line 29 ICS) The remaining references to 'lose myself' are (L270 p.266 Line 12) and (L341 p.364 line 10). These refer more to a permanent losing of herself, because of her impending death. |
